Kit Preview : 1/76 Cromwell Combat Ready 1920 pattern Rolls Royce A/C
About the manufacturer
Cromwell now focuses on 1/76 and 1/72 Combat ready models which combine a reduced count of parts and a good level of detail. Older kit type models are still available, mostly on Ebay. I find Cromwell castings to be among the best on the market.

About the kit
The model is beautifully cast but I am not sure what to make of it as I have not found any evidence as to what type and period is represented.
It represents a 1920 model judging by the closed turret and the spare wheel placement but the fatter tires and the Vicker K gun point to WW2. Pictorial evidence shows the headlights higher and attached to the fenders, not where the kit has them. On the accuracy side the model lacks all the rivets, which is surprising for Cromwell. Finally there is no stowage whatsoever and the Vickers K gun does not have a mount.
