Kit Preview : 1/76 Cromwell Combat Ready SdKfz 11 with cargo body

Cromwell now focuses on 1/76 and 1/72 Combat ready models which combine a reduced count of parts and a good level of detail. Older kit type models are still available, mostly on Ebay. I find Cromwell castings to be among the best on the market.

About the kit
This is a simple build, the truck, windscreen, steering wheel and front tarpaulin roof. It is the same size as the Matchbox SdKfz 11, albeit with slightly smaller rear wheels. The windshield lacks a horizontal bar on the driver side but that may be OK for this version. The headlights are placed closer together and further from the front giving the model a different look, more like a SdKfz 7. Here again I don't know if this is correct.
