About the kit
Gaz AA wheels come in many flavors. The best by far are the 1/72 injection molded Pegasus ones, sanded down to scale. From left to right : SHQ (wheel too large, tire too narrow), Matador resin (too small), Ostmodels (OK but crude detail), Pegasus.
The kit comes with two turrets, the larger turret from the BA-6 used on the BA-10 and the later conical turret used on the BA-10m. The wheels are nice but are a little thick for the armored car. They would be better on a Gaz AA truck. The armored cars had narrow hard tires. Unfortunately, no headlights are provided. Quality-wise it has multiple air bubbles and some of the ribs on the rear hull are broken off. Other than that it is accurate and should look good when completed. The rear fenders should have a different front profile, with two straight sloping sections .
Kit with corrected fenders and test fitted with Pegasus wheels and axles.
